She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Hamby and Arvie Hamby (Goins); her husband Jerry "Jug" Standifer; and her siblings, Howard Hamby, Homer Hamby, Eugene Hamby, Bobby Hamby and Lilly Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Redden (Chris) of Soddy-Daisy; her siblings, Bill Hamby of Dayton, Larry Hamby (Vicki) of Soddy-Daisy, Mary Webb of Dayton, Bernice Henderson of Dayton and Dora Lester of Mansfield, OH; her granddaughters, Brandy Wilson (Michael) of Chattanooga and Misty Powell (Chris) of Soddy-Daisy; her great grandchildren, Lauren Wilson, Jared Wilson (Heather), Blake Powell and Brady Powell; and her great great grandchildren, Allison-Louise Wilson and Audrey-Grace Wilson.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Rhea Memory Gardens (24. N 85°02'W, 3527 TN-29, Dayton, TN 37321).
