He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvina Reed and Raymond Phillips; and his grandson Eric Renner. He is survived by: his children, Eddie Phillips (Jamie), Diane Walker (Ronnie) of Tallapoosa, GA, Renee Fairclough of Soddy, TN and Cindy Lawrence of Oak Ridge, TN; his siblings, Adair McElynn, Charlotte Weller, Almedda Mullins of Chattanooga, TN, Mary Ann Wyatt (Will) of Saint Leonard, MD, Nathan Reed of Dayton, TN and Archie Phillips (Rose Marie) of Harvest, AL; his close friend Lee Creasman; and his children, Ruby Weatherbee of Pikeville, TN, Jackie Fay Crawford of Dayton, TN and Leon Creasman of Pikeville, TN.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
