He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Shaver and Katholeen Woollen Shaver; and his brothers, Ray, Dean, Alvin and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Shelby Shaver; his sons, Eddie Jr Shaver (Joyce) of Hazel Green, AL, Jerry Shaver (Edie) of Dayton, TN, Steve Shaver (Gina) of Waynesboro, GA and Ted Shaver (Rhonda) of Kingsport, TN; his siblings, Ora Fay Bishop of San Diego, CA, Linda Hinds of Dayton, TN and Lynn Shaver; his grandchildren, Alex (Jennifer), Shane (Jo Lynn) of Dayton, Blake (Molly) of Huntsville, AL, Derrick (Lindsay) of Knoxville, Cathy Grundman (Tim) of Clarksville, TJ, Cassie, Torie, Maddie of Kingsport and Cyrena O'Bryant (Aaron) of Chattanooga; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Justin, Gwen, Andrew, Keylon, Reid, Jace and Kinsley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Walden Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund.
