We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 51, Edwin Emmitt Scates Jr. (Dayton, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd, Frances Dorn, Lewis and Ruth Scates. He is survived by: his mother Patti Dorn Scates; his wife Jennifer Barger Scates; his children, Wesley Scates, Destiny, Preston Mize and Jeanna Keltch; his father Emmitt Scates; his brothers, Michael and Jamie Scates; and his close friend Bill (Becky Simpson). He is also survived by extended family members and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Inc. (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321-1130). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
