He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Perkinson and Kate Perkinson; his wife Caroline; his daughter Debra Steel; and his sister Opal Brockman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Cooley (Robin) of Dayton and Dona Jordan; his sister Jamie Sharpe of Chattanooga; and his grandchildren, Allan Cooley (Kelsey), Reece Cooley, Evan Megaris, Aaron Jordan, Brooklyn Jordan, Stacy Green, Heather Smith and David Smith. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
