He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cox of Dayton, Tennessee; his daughter Christie Burchard (Gary) of Dayton, Tennessee; his brothers, Delmas Cox (Margie) of Beckley, James Cox (Jackie) of Summersville, Charlie Cox (Terri) of Mocksville and Homer Cox (Valarie) of Shady Springs; and his grandsons, Tyler Richard Martin and Christopher Blake Martin.
