He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Byerley Gibson; his parents, Herbert Gibson and Gladys Price Gibson; and his siblings, Sonny Gibson, Faye Gibson and Elizabeth Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Gibson, Gwen Sanford and Patricia Meyer (Denny); his grandchildren, Katrina Sanford Hileman (Steven), Shane Sanford and Heather Hill (Randy); and his great grandchildren, Heath Hileman and Lydia Hileman.
