He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William, Sr. and Mary Woodard (Walter); and his wife Nancy Beauline Woodard (Anderson). He is survived by: his children, Patricia Sawyer of Plymouth, NC and Gregory William Woodard of Newport News, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
