With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Combs of Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Brenda leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Roberts and Virginia Jones Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Jeanie Marie Barnes of Spring City, Tanaya Messimer (Jesse Hill) of Dayton and Bobby Joe Combs (Elise) of Evensville, Tennessee; her sister Diane Roberts of Dayton, Tennessee; and her close friends, Shari Beacham, Lorena Creasman, Jimmie Ann Mahan and Lois Dagnan. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (150 New Lake Rd, Spring City, TN 37381). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
