It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Hoyt (Dayton, Tennessee), born in Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 4, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Bitsy Hoyt (Sheets); his siblings, Elizabeth Stone Hoyt and James Wells Hoyt, Jr.; and his nephew Van Tarvin Hoyt. He is survived by: his children, Lace Stevens (John) of Pagosa Springs, CO and William "Andes" Hoyt, Jr. (Susan) of Huntsville, AL; his grandchildren, James Scott Stevens (Sara) of Lafayette, LA, William Carl Stevens (Adrienne) of Lafayette, LA, Jennifer Marie Hoyt and Christina Ruth Hoyt; his sister Mary Ruth Hoyt of Maryville; and his niece Brenda Griffin Hoyt.
