She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Quitman Purser, Jr.; and her siblings, Ceamon Hill, Kineard Hill, Charles Hill, Alvin Hill, Bleakia Hill Whitten and Dallas Hill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Button (David) of Ooltewah, Paula Wells (Robert) of Ooltewah and Carol Floyd (Lynn) of Signal Mountain; her brother Earl Hill (Jeanette) of Whitwell; and her grandchildren, Emily Horn, Katy Hicks, Amy Campbell, Nick Wells, Tom Wells, Caroline McKinney and Ashley Wheeling. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
