It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Auldin Prentice Crane of Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arby Lee Crane and Elma Crane (Hancock); and his siblings, Minnie Ruth Fann (Crane), Lillian Frances Morgan (Crane), Virgil Granvil Crane, Bertha Virginia Stephens (Crane), Cecil Ledell Crane, Gwendolyn "Nina" Crane, Philip Dale Crane, Douglas Wayne Crane, Raymond Eugene Crane and Leonard Austin Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Crane (Adamson); his children, Sheryl Fritts of Dayton, Terry Rogers (Mitchell) of Pikeville and Lisa Streetman (Robert) of Chickamauga, Georgia; his grandchildren, Alex Dugger (Charlee) of Dayton, James Hutton of Cleveland, Conrad Rogers of New Freedom, Jacqueline Rogers of Pikeville, Jarod Streetman of Chickamauga and Logan Streetman of Murfreesboro; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Jones, Kenneth Swanson of Pikeville, JaMarcus Swafford of Dayton, Makila Swafford of Dayton, Briellé Gunter of Dayton and Renlee Dugger of Dayton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Rigsby Cemetery.
