He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ward and Ruby Walker Ward; his sister Ruth Motes; and his granddaughters, Brandy Ward Burns and Megan Nicole Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Ward; his children, Roger Ward (Sandy), Wendy Rogers (Jeremy), Billy Ray (Sherry), Diane Swafford (Lloyd) and Mike Ward; and his siblings, Betty Brown of Knoxville, TN, Naomi Davis, Linda Hannon, Bobby Ward and Felix Ward. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
