Arthur David Provenzano Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur David Provenzano (Dayton, Tennessee), born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on September 30, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Provenzano; his parents, Vincenzo Provenzano and Teresa Provenzano; his sister Fred Simunic; his brother-in-law Edith Schweitzer; and his sister Bob Schwietzer.
He is survived by: his children, Vince Provenzano (Monica) and Teresann.
Art is survived by so many who love him; son, Vince (Monica) Provenzano, daughter, Teresann 'Terri" (Rob) Sentell. His grandsons Brent (Christy) Sentell, Brian Provenzano, Matthew (Amber) Provenzano and granddaughter, Kristen Sentell Robinson (Tommy). His great grandchildren, Ella and Lily Sentell, Jack and Sybil (Birdie) Robinson, Thatcher and Laney Provenzano. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Affectionately known as Papu or Mr. P to so many, he will be missed. The family would like to thank LifeCare of Red Bank staff for the extreme compassion and kindness shown to Art. They loved on him, joked with him, talked to him, brought him coffee, even hugged and kissed him letting him call them sweetheart. There are too many names to mention but each of them know the special bond they had with him and we are very grateful. The family will receive friends at St. Jude Catholic Church on Thursday 10-4 at 11:30 am to 12:30 pm with the funeral mass starting at 12:30. Internment will take place at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson, TN. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to St. Jude Catholic Church 930 Ashland Terrace, Hixson, TN. 37415.
