She was predeceased by: her parent Chapman "Chat"; her husband Ola Thurman; her son Timmy Thurman; and her brothers, Arnold Walker and Alfred Walker (Emma Pritchett).
She is survived by: her parent Elvira Smith Walker; her siblings, Billy Walker of Soddy Daisy, Lena Owings (Larry) of Dayton, Bobby Patterson (Denny) of Dayton and Kathy Mason of Dayton; her sisters-in-law, Lola Heard of Pikeville, Leota Drake of Dayton and Verna Harris of Spring City; and her close friends, Betty Colvin and Norma Davis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; who she loved as her own children.
