It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Ray Denton of Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen R. Denton and Rodella Profitt Denton; and his brother James Denton. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Jane" Denton (Tollett) of Dayton; his daughters, Sheila Denton Benoit of Birmingham, AL and Kim Denton Powell of Knoxville, IL; his siblings, John Denton (Judy) of Dayton, Carol Denton Hankel and Janice Denton Mowery; and his grandchildren, Rennie Benoit, Haven Powell, Aydin Powell and Levi Powell.
