He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" and Mary Hill Garrison; his siblings, Jay, Clyde, Charles Garrison, Betty Cleo Mahan and Ruth Ann Ezell; and his stepbrothers, Jim, Jack, John and Buddy Holloway.
He is survived by: his wife Ida GodBehere Garrison of Dayton; his siblings, Alta Mae Tate of Spring City, Nancy Ellen Dunn of Spring City, James Jackson Garrison of Spring City and George Clifton Garrison of Spring City; and his stepsister Barbara McClendon of Spring City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
