She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Miller and Mildred Miller; her former husband Kenneth Bishop; and her sisters, Lois Wilson, Mabel Moore and Marjorie Sams.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Thornhill; her children, Kenny Bishop (Terrie), Kim Underwood (Jeff), Scott Bishop (Kim), Stephanie Vick (Robert), Jeff Thornhill (Amy) and Angie Rogers (Randy); her sister Janice Satterfield; and her sister-in-law Wanda Pruitt. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts in memory of Vivian Bishop Thornhill be made to the French Broad Community Church Cemetery, 3306 Brethren Church Rd., White Pine, TN 37890.
