He is survived by: his sisters, Christine Sams Lovelace and Nancy Sams Fox; his children, Jeffery Sams (Nancy), Roy Clark Sams (Meg) and Kelly Sams Lindner (Robert); and his grandchildren, Rylan, Connor, Asher, August, Elijah, Malachi, Emi, Wade, Tara (Joseph), Maci and Robby.
