He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Glenn Lane; and his brother-in-law Charles Shepherd. He is survived by: his children, Amy Parker (Josh) of Talbott and Jason Lane (Melissa) of Newport; his grandchildren, Annie Sizemore, Samara Lane, Caden Lane and Elijah Parker; his mother Mary E. Lane of Dandridge; and his siblings, Jeanette Fine of Dandridge, Sue Shepherd of Dandridge, Sylvia Hale (Michael) of Dandridge, Kenneth Lane of Dandridge, Tommy Lane (Janet) of Dandridge and Gary Lane of Dandridge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be made to Costner-Maloy to help cover the final expenses.
