Ronald Richard Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Richard Smith of Dandridge, Tennessee, born in Florence, Alabama, who passed away on May 18, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Smith and Lorraine Lawson Smith; his siblings, Moody, Gary Smith, Terry Smith Redd and Stella Ann Smith; and his parents-in-law, James and Doris Hill.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his children, Debbie Smith Morgan and Donnie Smith (Lisa); his grandchildren, Travis, Brian Morgan, Rory and Marly Smith; his sisters-in-law, Nina Brimer (Sandy) of Dandridge and Shirley Holt (Charles) of Morristown; and his close friend Stevie James. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and "double" first cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
