She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ernest Brooks and Sina Ruth Sheets Brooks; and her husband Danny Robert James. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Alice James and Robert Litton James; her brother Thomas Brooks (Laura); her sister-in-law Dorothy James; her niece Beth; and her nephew John Scott.
