She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Edward and Wilma Moore Edmonds; and her brother Clyde "Eddie" Edmonds. She is survived by: her children, Jerry David Edmonds (Sheila) and Wendy Hensley (William Hyder); her granddaughters, Heather Grooms (Chris), Ashley Edmonds and Brittany Hensley; her great grandchild Adriel Grooms; her brothers, Jimmy Carol Edmonds (Gail) and Allen Manning (Betty); and her sister-in-law Willie Maude Patterson (Donna Abbott).
