It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicki L. Freiberg of Dandridge, Tennessee, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Nicki farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nicki is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald R Freiberg and Mary Margaret Nicol Freiberg; her stepmother Anne Grace Hilyer Freiberg; and her stepbrothers, James D. Hilyer and Donald Hilyer.
She is survived by: her brother Jerry M. Freiberg; her stepsisters, Sarah JoAnn Hilyer Hormer and Martha Hilyer McCardel; her niece Nicole Sparkman; and her friend Nicki. She is also survived by her family and friends, her church family, the Soul Sisters, and her many friends.
Any memorial donations should be made to the Humane Society of Jefferson County.
