He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Speer and Blanche Speer. He is survived by: his wife Gernie Svuba Speer; and his sons, Steven Speer (Diane) of Spanish Springs and Rodney Speer (Linda) of Davenport, Iowa. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dandridge First United Methodist Church (121 E Meeting St, Dandridge, TN 37725). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
