He is survived by: his wife Charlene Sutton Lawson; his son David Lawson (Holly); his grandchildren, Justin Lawson (Hunter), Austin Lawson (Nicki), Aaron, Rachael, Isaac Lawson, Jessica Cody (Tim), Dakota and Chaz Starnes; his great grandchildren, Jaycee Mae and Madison Lawson; his siblings, Don Lawson, Reverend Rodney Lawson (Nedra), Glenda Byrd (late Bob), Vera Moore (Tommy) and Teresa Lawson; and his close friends, Ben, Sieglinda Baldwin, John and Kristen Howard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
