She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Franklin and Reba Northern; her aunt Ruth Franklin; her brothers, Roy Cate, Robert Franklin and Lon Franklin; and her grandson Derrick McCoig.
She is survived by: her husband Garland P. McCoig; her children, G. W. "Bud" McCoig (Joan) and Brenda Holland (David); her grandchildren, Julie Allen (JayJay), John Holland (Martina), Luke Holland (Kristin) and Kelly Wilson (John); her great grandchildren, Chandler, Joshua, Fayth Holland, Tripp Allen, Tori Hill and Ty Wilson; and her sister-in-law Helen Faye White.
