It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Williams Dobyns of Dandridge, Tennessee, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robert Sr. and Mary John Williams; her husband Dr. Roy A. Dobyns, Sr.; her brother George Robert Jr.; and her sister-in-law Mary Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Roy A. Dobyns, Jr. (Robin) of Boone, John Dobyns (Carol) of Raleigh and Joe Dobyns (Donna) of Jefferson City, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Katy King (Adam), Kyle Dobyns (Lisa), Jessica Gray (Kevin), Kayla Daffron (Drew), Trey Dobyns and Carly Jo Dobyns; her great grandchildren, Amelia King, Eleanor King, Naomi Dobyns, Lyla Kate Gray, Owen Gray and Cooper Gray; her brother Finney; her sister-in-law Stephanie Williams; and her nephews, George Williams, Bill Williams, Tom Williams and John Williams.
