She was predeceased by: her husband James Michael Thomas; her son James Michael Thomas, Jr.; her parents, Malcolm Barr and Ruby Barr; and her brother Malcolm "Joe" Barr, Jr..
She is survived by: her nieces, Lauren Combs (Michael) of New Market and Tiffany Williams of Rutledge; and her great-niece Paige Williams.
