She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Hubbard; her parents, Howell Cox and Ida Cox (Rickard); her siblings, Wendell, Leonard, Ervin Cox, Marjorie B. Cox, Della Haynes and Jane McFalls; and her stepmother Elizabeth Cox.
She is survived by: her son James A. McCown, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Cary McCown; her grandchildren, James McCown III, Justin McCown and Chelsea Sawyer; and her sister Faye Hartman (Max). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
