He was predeceased by: his father Paul Merritt. He is survived by: his children, Spencer Merritt (Hannah), Emilee Merritt and Xavier Merritt; his grandchildren, Zabrayah Merritt, Braelynn Merritt and Axel Whillock; his mother Stella Merritt; and his brother Randy Merritt (Melissa).
