He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles S. Newman Sr. and Audra Clinton Newman; and his siblings, Carl, Roy, Charles, Nelson, Joe Newman, Joyce Walker, Myrtle Mae Wise and Juanita Loveday.
He is survived by: his siblings, George T. Newman, Roberta Dalton and Rowena Lowe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
