He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Briggs and Mary Briggs; and his sister Maggie Rimmer. He is survived by: his daughters, Cathie Jo Johnson (Andy) and Jessie Briggs; his significant other Linda Ramsey; his close friend Roxie; his grandson Preston Johnson; his sisters, Peggy Bettis (Mike) and Betty Carmichael (Butch); and his close friend Wayne McKinney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
