It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Halbert Oakley Shelton of Dandridge, Tennessee, born in Wayne, Michigan, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jane Covault Shelton and Willard Hines Shelton; and his wife Mary France Jones Shelton. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Shelton, Sherry Springer (Charlie), Marlene Edmunds-Keller and Elizabeth Lane; his children, Cindy Stoos (Doug), Theresa Hutchinson and Mark Shelton; his grandchildren, Daniel Stoos, Matt Stoos, Christine Hutchinson, James Hutchinson, Braxton Shelton (Sydney) and Kylie Mills (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Molly, Gavin, Kaelynn and Levi.

There will be no services held due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
