He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Salley Hicks; his stepfather Hesterly Hicks; and his sister Edna Baker Dowdy. He is survived by: his wife Doris Baker; his children, Mark Baker (Lena), Robert Baker (Sherri) and Catherine Baker; and his siblings, Jesse Baker (Vivian), Marion Hicks and Connie Vermillion (Robert) of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
