He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend William Eugene Branson and Mae Adams Branson; and his siblings, Kenneth Gene Branson, Marilyn Kay, Brenda Gibson and Reverend Larry Branson.
He is survived by: his wife Freddie Williams Branson; his daughters, Rhonda Posey (James) of Dandridge, TN and Melissa Gilliam (Barry) of Church Hill, TN; his siblings, Delois Reed, Gina Freeman (Dan) and Gary Branson (Janet); and his grandchildren, Meagan Templeton, Jessica Stewart, Kara-Glyn Jarvis, Shelbea Posey, Anna Posey and Austin Posey. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
