He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Bayless Corum (Susie); his parents, George Corum and Virgie Mendenhall Corum; his sisters, Frances Scott and Shirley Hawn; and his brothers-in-law, Samuel Carrier, Conald Hawn, Roger Witt and Claude Scott.

He is survived by: his daughter Melinda; his son-in-law Paul Kennard; his daughter Jennifer Corum; his grandchildren, Benjamin Kennard, Samuel and Jill Cruikshank; his siblings, Barbara Carrier and Paul; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Corum and Pat Witt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
