He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Dennison Caustic; and his wife Virginia "Ginger" Caustic. He is survived by: his parent Bessie Meryle Caustic (Martin); and his children, Dawn Caustic, Bryce Caustic, Jason Caustic and Rianna Caustic. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society.
