He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kertis and Helen Dino Kertis. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Kertis; his children, Edmund Lee Kertis, Kimberly Kathern Kertis, Michael Kertis and Melodie Ann Sue Kertis; and his sister Madeline Pisani.
