It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Neal Jarnigan of Dandridge, Tennessee, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry Jarnigan. He is survived by: his wife Jean McIntosh Jarnigan; his children, Dena Oakes (Ken), David Black and Kristen Dutton (Craig); his grandchildren, Kennedy Oakes, Joshua Oakes, Elijah Black, Nathaniel Dutton, Lily Dutton and Josiah Black; and his brothers, Bill Jarnigan (Norma) and Murel Jarnigan (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shady Grove Church (1675 Harold Patterson Rd, Dandridge, TN 37725). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the East Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37914).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Shady Grove Global Methodist Building Fund.
