With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Hankins (Dandridge, Tennessee), who passed away on April 1, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Gass Hankins; and her parents, Joseph Tell and Irene Derry Whittaker. She is survived by: her daughter Clara; her grandchildren, Kate Russell (Dustin) and Robert Gac (Patricia); her great grandchildren, Will Russell, Taylor Russell, Brennan Gac and Caitlyn Gac; her nieces, Dale Davis, Kim Sassenberg (Anton), Melissa, Kristy, Lauren Edsel, Clarice Whittaker, Diane Whittaker Foreman and Marma Lee Boles; her nephew Edward Edsel (Joan); and her friends, Helen Farrar, Jean Gass, Martha Hall, Jewell Hodge, Mary Lakin, Mary Alice Ray and Jeanette Rimmer.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
