He is survived by: his son Jeff Whisman (Bobbi) of Ghent, WV; his grandchildren, Brianna, Brittany, Rayven, Autumn and Logan; and his great grandchild Zylen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Shady Grove Methodist Church at 1675 Harold Patterson Road, Dandridge, TN 37725.
