She was predeceased by: her husband Tom B. Carter; her parents, Jess R. Conway and Daisy Hall Conway; her siblings, Beatrice Sullivan, Judy Cates, Mary Chrisman and Jess R. Conway, Jr.; her granddaughter Lauren Nicole Matijevich; and also Hattie Potts Conway.

She is survived by: her sister Joan Wood of Tulsa, OK; her children, Cathy Woods, Karen Matijevich (Eli) and Tom Carter (Barbara); her grandchildren, Brianne Taylor (Brent), Brad Woods (Tammy), Nick Matijevich (Lauren), Christopher Leveri, Troy Wilson, Kevin Tankersley, Cynthia Beasley and Ashley Behm (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Logan Taylor, Elyse Johnston (Dakota), Natalie Matijevich, Max Matijevich, Spencer Beasley and Izzy Behm; her great great grandchild Oaklynn Tatum Johnston; and her cousin Shannon Clark. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and family friends.
