He was predeceased by: his parent Rhea Hance Gaddis; his stepfather Glenn Gaddis; and his brother Larry Gaut. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Gaut; his sons, Anthony R. Gaut (Alyson) and David Gaut (Angie); his stepdaughters, Laura Borders and Caryn Armstrong (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Ashney Patoka, Bret Gaut, Amarys Gaut, Addie Gaut, Jordan Gaut and Lorren Gaut; and his stepgrandchildren, Austin, Taylor, Alyssa, Anabelle and Tabatha. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
