He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hughes and Myrtle Hughes; and his siblings, Evenell Hughes, Verna Shular, Betty Hearon, Jim Hughes and Kathy Edmonds.
He is survived by: his children, Leigh Ann Hughes and Keith Hughes (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jade, Caleb Miller, Matthew, Michael and Camden Hughes; his great grandchildren, Talia, Rose, Alexandria Miller, Carmen Smith, Nalani and Zoraya Miller; and his siblings, Ruby White (Doug), Doris McKenzie (Jim) and Howard Hughes (Aurora). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
