He is survived by: his children, Samuel Robert Holt (Stephanie), Sandra Kay Mayes of Cypress Inn, TN and Rita Faye Stricklin (Kelvin) of Cypress Inn, TN; his siblings, John Holt Jr., Joe Ed Holt and Dolly Johnson; his grandchildren, Lacy Holt, Jon Holt (Jana) and Alex Stricklin; and his great grandchildren, Macklin Holt and Maverick Holt.
