He was predeceased by: his parents, King Floyd and Mary Ella Bailey Dodd; his former wife Mary Frances McLaughlin; his wife Glenda Faye Thompson; and his siblings, Cecil Dodd, Blanch Kleinschmidt, Jean Kay, Jewel Bissey and Betty Garner.
He is survived by: his children, Kelvin Dodd (Janelle) of Florence, AL and Mary Ellen Hazelbaker (Jackie) of Waterloo, AL; and his sister Martha Wooten of Florence, AL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
