He is survived by: his sons, Oscar Broome Jr. of Fairview, AL, Anthony Broome of Tunnell Hill, Timothy Broome of Collinwood, TN and Gaylon Broome of Collinwood, TN; his stepson Terry West of Cypress Inn, TN.; his daughters, Cheryl Lambert of Florence, AL, Angela Broome of Iron City, TN and Marlene Hardin of Chickamauga, GA.; and his sisters, Margret Hawkins of Trion, GA, Viola Garris of Rosswell, GA, Linda Baker of Lawrenceville, GA and Cathy Farris of Alpharetta, GA.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
