He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Lonzo and Opal Powell Martin; and his siblings, Robert Martin (Mary), Bill Martin (Sue), Pete Martin, Hazel Tilley and Frances Mercier.
He is survived by: his great-niece Jennifer Marks (Eric) of Cypress Inn; his sisters, Linda Burden (Steve) of Killen, AL and Shirley Pate (Bo) of Lawrenceburg; and also, Krista Looney (Tucker) of Florence, AL, Kara Marks and Kailey Marks of Cypress Inn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors (993 TN-13, Collinwood, TN 38450). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
