He is survived by: his wife Sonoko Smith (Isa) of Cypress Inn, TN; his daughters, Mary West (Ricky) of Cypress Inn, TN and Masako Smith of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his granddaughters, Vanessa Strange (Rick) and Natasha Brooks (Burt); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Vaughn and Saxon.
